I’m Dr. José Juan Cadena De La Garza, a proud graduate of UANL, one of Mexico’s most prestigious dental and orthodontic programs. After completing my degree in 2013 and earning a master’s in orthodontics, I returned to my hometown of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, where our clinic is located just one block from Bridge #1, connecting directly to Eagle Pass, Texas.

Dr. Jose Juan Cadena de la Garza
Orthodontist
I earned my degree in Dental Surgery from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL), completing my studies from 2008 to 2013.
Driven by a passion for facial aesthetics and dental alignment, I pursued a Master’s Degree and Specialty in Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopedics at UANL from 2015 to 2018, one of the most prestigious programs in Latin America.
My academic and clinical work has been recognized nationally and internationally, particularly for my thesis:
“Comparison of Bracket Debonding Resistance Using Two Types of Adhesives and a Contaminating Agent,” which contributed to advancements in orthodontic bonding techniques.
As part of my specialty training, I participated in an international academic exchange at CES University in Medellín, Colombia in 2017, gaining hands-on experience with advanced orthodontic protocols and cross-border clinical practices.
In 2016, I had the honor of presenting a complex surgical case involving Condylar Hyperplasia at the Mexican Society of Orthodontics Congress in Mexico City — a rare and challenging condition affecting jaw symmetry and function.
